The value of the God’s Presence

Introduction

    The presence of God is an inexhaustible source of life, never the flow of his presence upon us is terminated.

2 Samuel 6: 1-12

   The ark of God represented the presence of God.

   How to come before God in our lives? How do we make God's presence not only touch us or visit, but also stay with us?

   This is the problem with many receives God's touch in meetings but during the week living in defeat, did the presence of God to stay with them.

   David loved God, and he had every good intention of bringing the ark, had the desire but that did not guarantee that the presence of God to stay.

   What ensuring the presence of God stay with us? Obedience to walk the steps God says you have to walk, to live in his will that ensures the presence of God not only come into your life but also stay with you and that is the greatest treasure you have in your life and in your home.

   v.3 "set the ark of God upon a new cart". Human efforts do not guarantee that the presence of God comes where you want this, obedience itself.

   David has the good intention and brings the ark of the house of Uzza 20 years the ark there. We’re walking, the oxen stumbled and Uzzah wanted to touch the ark, the ark it was normal because I had 20 years in his home.

   v.6-7 But one day God made him understand through the everyone that his presence is not normal. We cannot make it a routine because it can bring spiritual death for our lives.

   Now David, wonders what happened here? Something was wrong. The intention was good but how? Was not right, was wrong. For the Ark of the Covenant was not to be taken by car but on the shoulder consecrated people, called to carry the ark of God's presence.

   You're one of those people, God called you to put on your shoulders his presence for you to be the bearer of this wonderful presence of the glory of God in your life.

   You can have the best intentions of having the presence of God but if you do not intend you add the way it is obedience as God wants it all going to be in a mere intention and nothing else.

   Everyone wants the presence of God for giving us but nobody wants the presence of God for what it means to have it.

   Do you give value to the presence of God? Until we understand the value of your presence you're going to belittle. Few are those who know the value of your presence.

   After what happened v.10-11 David decides to leave the ark in the house of Obed-Edom. After what they had seen at that time, a man was wounded, broken by God, who had wanted to take the ark at home? Perhaps for some it was a risk. But for Obed-Edom in time, the presence of God I keep having the courage he had to take his life.

   To some say "oh no, because I do not think I can respond to God as He wants us to respond." They do not understand the value of it because only been used to living than the demonstrations made in their lives.

   If you give value to the presence of God, you're going to submit to Him completely. And his presence will make in your life that you fail you with your own strength.

    v.12 There blessing because of the presence of God.

   The presence of God is not only a spiritual experience but also has significance in our life and in all that surrounds us.

    Because of their presence you will be borne fruit, you will be blessed, you will be restored.

    After David brought the ark of God, I go dancing to the city, Michal look and contempt because she did not understand the value of God's presence. She then remained sterile.

    Also, when people do not understand the value of the God’s presence are spiritually sterile, become religious and do not live the life of God's presence.

2 Samuel 8: 1-6

    Where David was defeated enemies because I retrieve the God’s presence for your home.

    When you recover the presence of God and live under God's presence, you will always have victory over enemies.

 

Conclusion

    Give the value you have to give to the presence of God so that what happened to the house of Obed-Edom also happen with you today. Because this is a special time when the very presence of God will bear witness to what she does in your life.

    Retrieves the God´s presence, returns to find his presence.
